A delicious collaboration with Le Traiteur Archer & Manoir Maplewood

Wedding photography is so much more than capturing moments frozen in time. It’s about telling a story, translating an atmosphere, and immortalizing sensations. Each collaboration I have with wedding vendors allows me to dive into a unique universe and extract all its visual richness. And when it comes to gastronomy, the experience becomes even more sensory — especially when working with Le Traiteur Archer!
His cuisine is an ode to creativity and refinement: sumptuous dishes, surprising combinations, and vibrant colors that turn every plate into a work of art. Behind each bite lies deep passion, mastery of flavor, and meticulous attention to detail, a reminder of why choosing the right caterer is essential for an unforgettable wedding.
A mutual appreciation
I first met Édouard (the Traiteur Archer) and Cynthia (his partner and accomplice) during the creative workshop for photographers, Beyond The HeARTs, created by Myriam Ménard and Kerstin Hahn. created by Myriam Ménard and Kerstin Hahn. I was instantly charmed by their joy, their passion, and of course, by the absolutely delicious dishes I was lucky enough to taste!
So you can imagine my surprise a few months later when I received a message from them saying I had been a favorite of theirs — and inviting me to collaborate on creating culinary content for them and for Manoir Maplewood! It was an invitation I simply couldn’t refuse: working with passionate people in such an enchanting setting AND... getting to taste Édouard’s cuisine again!
My perspective behind the lens
During this collaboration, my role was to capture not only the dishes and the atmosphere, but also the very essence of Chef Archer’s work. Through my images, I wanted to highlight the finesse of the textures, the harmony of the colors, and the emotion radiating from each culinary composition.My photographic approach allowed me to showcase their craftsmanship and shed light on the unique experience they offer their clients. Every shot tells a story — that of a meal conceived with passion and served with elegance.
And for the curious ones — yes, I had the privilege (and pleasure!) of tasting every single dish I photographed, and let me tell you… just thinking about it makes my mouth water all over again!

Its grand architecture and intimate ambiance make it the perfect backdrop for refined weddings. Photographing Traiteur Archer’s creations in such a setting only enhanced the magic — each element complementing the other in perfect harmony.
